Hi everyone, we would like to extend an invitation for you to see the latest advancements in Technology application.

We had a special event here yesterday, the unveiling of a 4 axis mill for the manufacturing of foot models to make custom made footwear.
The mill is not limited to foot Cast/Last making, as we can mill items up to 900mm long and 600mm wide and 200mm deep, big enough to make an entire lower limb.

This is the first of its kind in a Pedorthic facility anywhere in Australia. Our recent open day was well attended by Hospital, University, local Government and private practice clinicians alike, a great moment for us and our clients, with potential to reduce delivery time by as much as 25%for our custom made footwear. From the high tech 3D scanned image to the milled model to the finished footwear, we can make a shoe to fit any foot.

If you would like more information or you would like to attend one of our evening events please let me know.
    P.S
For the clients images seen attached, we made a Cast for the right foot, built a UCBL around that, then built the footwear around that, the left foot we milled a custom Last with 18mm heel pitch and added 6mm depth to accommodate his new TCO and built the shoe over that, She now walks without her walking stick.
