    Hi everyone,

Could someone please tell me, if the DVA Podiatry referral states "continuing care", is it still a requirement for a new GP referral to be issued every twelve months? Or is the referral valid indefinitely?

Interestingly, when GP's refer now to specialists, there appears to now be an option for them to make a "continuing" referral, negating the need for a new referral every 12 months.

    Thanks heaps
    SB

It is not a requirement for a new referral every 12 months for DVA clients from GP's. It stopped, I dunno, about 4 or so years ago.
