Unlawful to restrict podiatry residency positions to US citizens?

    More on this: a settlement with the Department of Justice was reached. (link to agreement). They promised to longer advertise that way and pay a $2000 fine.

    What a futile waste of time and resources. A program can refuse an applicant for any number of reasons. It's a competitive market. Forcing a hospital to not 'advertise' their position on immigration status won't change a thing.
