    Dear Colleague,

Myself and 2 other colleagues are trying to set up a MSK:UK Hampshire / South central branch. MSK:UK is a podiatry musculoskeletal interest group which is motivated to drive MSK podiatry forward, assist in education and raise the profile of this speciality.

We aim to address all aspects of MSK podiatry, including Podiatric Sport Medicine, general orthopaedic pathologies and working in an extended scope practitioner role.

The meetings will be light hearted with education being the key aim. The meetings will consider all aspects of MSK: case studies, logistics of MSK clinics, current literature, treatment, imaging, referral considerations - the list is endless.

The group is aimed at everyone, from the budding podiatrist who has an interest in MSK, to the highly experienced MSK podiatrist - we can all benefit from this.

Currently the plan is to meet every 6-8 weeks across Hampshire. Before the venue is decided we need to gauge potential attendance numbers. Initially the meetings will be free so the venue will also need to be free. This could be a social / sports club or hospital meeting rooms for discussion on matters when some privacy is required.

As numbers increase we can look at running courses to generate revenue with all proceeds being put towards better venues, external speakers, and generally improving the experience for members.

So please let us know if you would be interested in joining us.

Any questions you can contact me via here or email -winchestersportspodiatry@gmail.com

    Thanks,

    Nick
