    Dear colleagues,

The Thomson Reuters 2013 journal impact factors have just been announced. The journal impact factor for 2013 is calculated as follows:

Number of citations in 2013 to articles published in 2011 and 2012, divided by the number of articles published in 2011 and 2012

The 2013 impact factors for foot-specific journals are listed below:

Journal of Foot and Ankle Research 1.831
    Foot and Ankle International 1.626
Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery 0.979
    Foot and Ankle Clinics 0.844
Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association 0.574
Clinics in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery 0.505

    Kind regards,

    The JFAR editorial team
