    Hi,

I know I might be a couple years late... but this thread seems to be what I'm looking for!
I hope your business is going strong.
I am just wondering how you went about organising EPC patients through Medicare. Do you need a special/specific provider number or is a standard provider number acceptable.
Is a particular software required to claim online?

Also, do you have to register your business with AHPRA/ have your sterilisation equipment inspected.
I was considering paper notes in a locked filing cabinet.

    Thanks

When my husband first started out in practice he do numerous home visits. One way to expand your practice is to send letters to all the visiting nurses in the area stating what you do. Most of them in my opinion hate doing feet. Another practice builder is when you visit a patient in a senior living home is to place a flier by the mail boxes stating what you do. Also, sending letters to all the local podiatrists stating you do housecalls, since most are beyond that. Good Luck! and Charge More!
