    Such a shame the name "podiatrist" is never mentioned, not even "foot care specialist" :bang:

    Because its a team effort...:D
    In no particular order the team consists of...

    GP's
    Dietitian
    Podiatrists
    Pedorthists
    Diabetic educators
    and the client.

    Of course there are even more to be involved if things go sadly wrong, as it does for 13 Aussies a day.

    I have to agree, it is a shame for the profession not to have the media coverage mention the word "podiatry". We know we are part of the team....

    Yes, they could have even mentioned that the researchers are podiatrists.

    Yes having seen this, it is beyond me why the word Podiatrist was not used even once. How are we supposed to evolve as a profession when we can't even get recognised for the work we do?
