    Hello,
I have been working in private practice now for 2 years and find 5 long days a week in clinic a lot.
Any ideas of any jobs I can apply for where I could do non clinical work but still be involved with podiatry? I am interested in research and teaching.
    Kind regards.

I know exactly what you mean Jasmine Emily.

I'm now going into my 7th year of private practice work and have had to cut back to working part time.

Just prior to this I was working long days and begun suffering with pinched nerves, migraines and terrible neck pain and had to take 2 weeks off. Needed a lot of physiotherapy, massage , streching and rest.

It's not worth the strain to your body and thank fully I can work part time. (3.5 days a week)

I'm not really sure what the future will hold with podiatry, I'm only 27 and don't know if my body can take it when I get older. There's also the emotional drain too.

Would be interested to hear other people's experiences.

I'm hoping I'm not going to have to end up working in Bunnings.
