    Hi everyone,

I've only just discovered this forum and thought it would be a great place to share the first Podiatry MOOC with you all.

My name is Mark and I'm a Learning Technologist at Edge Hill University in the UK - recently I've been working alongside one of our Senior Lecturers to create a 4 week open online course called Podiatry Matters.

This course is intended to address issues which face the podiatrist in day to day practice. The course examines some of the key problems of patients who have vascular problems affecting their lower limbs (PAD/Diabetes...). While the course is mainly focused on clinical matters, questions are also raised about the nature and scope of podiatry. The materials in the course are abstracted from the 'Vascular Disease Management' CPD module at Edge Hill University and offer high quality learning experience.

More information via press release: http://www.edgehill.ac.uk/news/2015/02/world-first-podiatry-mooc/

You can follow us on Twitter and feel free to ask any questions here or on the course: https://twitter.com/PodiatryMatters

All the best and hope to see you online soon!

    Mark

Hi Mark, saw this a bit late - is it too late to enroll?
    Many thanks,
    Max

  3. Hi Max,

You can enroll on the March course at any point of the month, its totally up to you- it opened on Sunday and won't close till the last day of the month:)

It's a Free/Open/Flexible course for Podiatrists ... even if you don't want to engage in the course you can watch the recorded sessions - the feedback we've had is really good.

The course will run each month till August, then we will review it and maybe develop an enhanced version...who knows?

    Best Wishes

    Mark
