The shoe fitting fluoroscope

    Absolutely incredible! I didn't know they used fluoroscopes just to see how was the shoe fitting!!
    Just as they didn't know about the radiation, we might have the same problem in 50 years due to the mobile phones radiation... who knows...

    I can remember these being used in shoe shops and having my shoes checked for correct fitting. As a child I thought it was great fun.

    Imagine the number of people you could show just how poorly their shoes fitted.

    Or alternatively you could just point out all of the rubs, callusing and corns in all the areas the shoes are tight!

    Bet they would believe the x ray though!

    Found it! l was looking for this thread, l had a guy ring me Friday asking if l was qualified to fit people with diabetes for footwear.
    l said yes and his reply was
    "So you have one of those Xray machines to check the fit?", l will send him a link to this youtube, talk about lost in time:wacko:
