JFAR debuts as #1 ranked foot and ankle journal according to Impact Factor

    Dear colleagues,

    The 2011 Impact Factors have just been announced by Thomson ISI. Five foot and ankle journals are tracked by Thomson and have Impact Factors. The Impact Factors for 2011 are:

    Journal of Foot and Ankle Research 1.333
    Foot and Ankle International 1.218
    Foot and Ankle Clinics 0.709
    Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association 0.567
    Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery 0.516

    JFAR is ranked 32nd out of 63 journals in the orthopedics category.

    The Impact Factor represents the average number of citations papers published in 2009/2010 received in 2011.
