Has anybody successfully done this to merge patient files from Frontdesk to another software? Just a little concerned that the extended care plan that frontdesk offer recently went 25% with annual increases above CPI forecast.

Hello Tim. Frontdesk is quite a complex system and provides very good features.

We are able to import EVERYTHING from FrontDesk into Mediclinic.

Now Mediclinic is TRULY Cloud based and we also provide DVA and Medicare ONline Claiming which goes to your bank account and we only act as the GATEWAY between YOU and Medicare.

We offer 6 months free trial and a host of other options which we are more than happy to speak with you about.

Apart from the 25% increase there is no increase in the Medicare DVA rebate for the next 2 years! And your reception, as lovely as they are also cost you a fair whack of your income to just meet and greet. Look at our Managed office solutions which are starting from $145.00 per month and all we do not do is take cash and meet and greet! Now importing notes, referrals everything else is possible.

this is a daunting thing to consider but YES it can be done

Hi Tim, in February this year we changed systems. The reasons why we changed was that the previous vendor was not keeping up to date, however their fees charges seemed to keep “up to date” very nicely (for them!). At the time we had 10,000 patient records including all relative patient data records (time stamped) and photos/letters etc. We found the transition was 100% seamless. We were very worried at the time, but have simply not looked back since. At the same time we shifted “to the cloud”. System we moved to is Cliniko. I have found the system very good and suitable across a range of criteria and fits seamlessly with all our Paromed data from in-shoe pressure measurement, scans and modelled devices files. Please get in touch with me if you want to discuss further.

    HI Andrew
Just noticed the company name, would Mark or Marcus Doille be involved in the
management team of this company ?
If so could you advise the readers of the previous companies that they have been
involved with perhaps A S I C S ,could help if you have trouble getting these
    details.

    Regards Alan Shepherd.

Dear Mr Shepherd. Please be advised that there is no person of any of those names associated with this company. They may have been in the past but this company in now part of a larger international organisation operating in 4 overseas locations as well as Australia.

We would be pleased to assist you with your software solutions as we have done so with many other Health Professionals and we welcome all enquiries so we may better explain what we now do.

    Hi Alan,

Not sure what you mean there? What I was referring to was that our clinics changed from Practice Bee to Cliniko and we have been very satisfied since!

    Thanks

    Andrew

Judging by the fact that the fax number for this company is the same as for Podiatry clinics, I'd say you are right on the money Alan.

Incorrect. Mediclinc software is owned by a number of entities, some overseas IT companies as well as some Overseas Medical companies. The number for Mediclinic is not the same as PodiatryClinics and we know of this company as we provide hosted software and services to them as we do to many other business within Australia and overseas.

We own a large number of in-dial numbers (1000 in fact) so we can place clients on our network so they save money in telephone and clinical management costs. This is detailed on our website.

MEDICLINIC has no association with these people and spurious information like this is harmful for no apparent reason.

Please search ASIC and you can verify information as required as this is the most appropriate place for information - not hearsay on this site.

Hi Alan, good to see you are out and about!

Hi Mediclinic, do you have a name? Cloud based sounds good as per my previous post!

Tim, I have spoken to several other vendors who advise moving data is something that each company can do well. I guess that is part of the process. At this time I have not heard of anyone loosing data? Would appreciate hearing if that is the case?

    Cheers

Hello Heather you may call Chris or Fernan on our central number of 1300 790 981

  11. Hi Tim!

coreplus offers data importing services - and we've helped several practices come over from FrontDesk.

At time of writing this, we offer client & referrer data imports for free, to those on either Standard, eHealth or Group subscription plans.

Client attachments, future appointments and other data are much more technically challenging to import. Subsequently, our customer service gurus can analyse a sample of your data & quote for importing anything beyond client & referrer data.

In our experience, most practices are happy with importing client & referrer data only.
