Researchers continue to describe Growing Pains in children as the adolescent form of RLS. This article continues that trend. But they have it completely backwards...RLS is the adult version of growing pains. One that had gp's as a child does not mean that they will suffer from RLS as an adult. Conversely, one that has RLS does not immediately mean they had gp's as a child. There are a myriad of reasons why these maladies can be exclusionary, which should be explored by the medical community, instead of, (IMO), wasting resources on heavy metal deficiencies. Some have made quite a living on the continuation of this type of research, such as this article, and are funded by Big Pharma. The author(s) above are no exception. Treating GP's with iron supplements is beyond the pale.
